These homes are factory built and assembled at the home site by Morris Home Builders.  Morris Home Builders works with several national and regional modular home manufacturers.  A home manufacturer is selected based on the design selected by the customer / home buyer.  Customers choosing to build a modular home typically save 10% to 30% as compared to a traditional on sight building.  Modular homes are well suited for starter homes.

Modular Custom and Performance

Modular homes can be customize.  By utilizing the latest "state-of-the-art" modular construction technology, custom home design can be a reality in less time, with less hassle and for less money than traditional site built or frame built home construction. 

Modular Homes, also known as Prefab Homes or Prefabricated Homes are "performance homes!" They are inherently more Energy Efficient because of the way they are built and the materials used. A few extra steps in the construction process and your home can be Energy Star Certified. Either way, a performance modular home will save you money on the ever increasing energy costs to heat and cool your home from the first day you move in.

Custom Homes

Custom homes are built specifically for an individual customer's design and specifications. That can include the floor plan, lot choice, selection of colors and materials, and all the fixtures that are included as part of the final product. Custom home buyers participate in the actual construction process. With Morris Home Builders, custom buyers are active participants who achieve a level of satisfaction when building their homes that no other process could possibly accomplish. They make many choices such as colors and styles of brick, tile, carpet, wall-finishes, cabinets, light fixtures, counter tops, and hardware. Many of these items are purchased within an allowance budget, meaning the contract sets out a specific amount of money set aside for each category. It’s up to the buyer to choose what is purchased within that budget.
